the LA riots started after the beating of Rodney King and the murder of Latasha Harlen. when the jury pleaded no guilty to the beating minutes later many people of the black community were out on the streets causing destruction. during the riots people cause havoc through the streets of South Central LA. the riots ended when the national guards came in. in the end 53 people died and $1billion of damage was cause from this 5 day riot.
